OMotion was founded in 2013 in Lund, Sweden, by Ola Svensson with the goal to build a new kind of vehicle - light, electric and for pure driving joy.
With roots in battery technology, electric motors and embedded systems, OMotion merges precision electroengineering with a passion for driving - building Swedish made vehicles powered by the latest electric tech to be agile, engaging and fun even at legal speeds.

First Prototype
In 2018, we unveiled our first prototype of the OMOTION.

Official Breakthrough
OMOTION 2 became our first type approved vehicle. A major milestone.

Our Own Factory
We built our own facility in Lund - ready to scale at our terms.

Ola - The EMotion behind OMotion
Ola Svensson is the heart and mind behind OMotion. A lifelong driving enthusiast and engineer at heart, he built the very first prototype in his garage - just to see if it could be done.
What started as a side project quickly became a full-blown mission: to create something street-legal, electric, and ridiculously fun to drive. Today, Ola still leads the charge, sleeves rolled up, shaping every detail with the same passion that started it all - and the same love for the open road.
